Prompt : Giving my best in everything I do.
Giving my best in everything i do is a way for me to achieve the goals I have set. Giving my best portrays a "never give up" attitude, an attitude that may inspire others to follow. When others start to follow I will gladly lead them to believing in themselves and improving their self confidence. By doing my best in something, even in times of failure I can be proud to say I did my best. I usually say a quote in times where I feel giving up is the only option left, "When you do your best, no one can say you did not try!" this is the mantra I tend to say a lot. Most importantly I look to God for the inspiration to push myself to always do my best. I can help myself to continually doing my best by implementing the values Stonyhurst Southville International School Malarayat has given me which are the 5c's Competence, Character, Commitment to Achieve, Callaboration, and Creativity. The slogan I hold very dear to my heart is from Stonyhurst as well, which is "Quant Je Puis" or as much as I can.
I want to tell you guys a story when i was in grade 10. Grade 10 was the mother of all stress years since we had a PASS thesis that needed completion.
The topic i choose was Color-Mood Association of High School Students of Stonyhurst Southville International School Malarayat. That topic was so hard to do since it dealt with the psychological side of people. The most stressful part of the thesis was the format! Every time we sent in our paper for checking if a period or a comma or something very minor was missing or in the wrong place we would have to print it over again until it was correct. All in all i printed my PASS thesis 6 times. I really got annoyed by having to print because of what i thought at the time insignificant details. I really was trying my best but i was getting tired of checking the thesis over and over again. When i printed my final paper i felt so proud, i felt so amazed that i was able to finish my thesis. After all the hardships, after all the sleepless nights i was finally finished. I did it i completed my PASS research! Throughout this entire process there were times were i just want to give up and throw in the towel but i never gave up because i was determined to finish what i started. When you complete something that you worked so hard on, something you put your blood sweat and tears in, it's the best feeling in the world.
