El morales la observación - 3 "A Drop"

Prompt : Resourcefulness to Preserve Mother Earth

How do we preserve mother earth? Shouldn’t we reduce, reuse, and recycle? Is one piece of trash really going to effect the environment it was thrown in? These are just some of the questions that we ask ourselves every day. The answer to this question is up to you. In my opinion we should preserve mother earth, we should reduce, reuse, and recycle, and yes one piece of trash is going to effect the outside environment. We have to preserve mother earth because it is the only home we have ever known. Every day we put more and more strain on our earth’s resources. Scarcity is going into effect and soon our earth will not be able to produce enough resources to sustain life. The polar ice caps are melting, habitats of the wildlife are being destroyed, and the greenhouse effect is slowly chewing away at our atmosphere and increasing earth’s climate. There are many plans in place to heal the damage we have caused to the Earth. Such as Recycling programs, Community clean ups, tree planting and much more. We just have to be that drop that sets the ocean in motion.

When i was a kid i was always so conscious of litter, when ever i would see litter scattered across the ground i would always clean them up. You can call me sort of a neat freak, you should see me now i'm the complete polar opposite of what i was when i was a kid.
I am what you call a messy disorganized person. i always try to change that but i seem not to have any time. At my old school we really didn't care about throwing trash in their proper trash receptacle, cleaning up the mess at the lunch tables, or cleaning up general trash lying around. I was in the A.S.B. (Associative Student Body) there and a lot of us gave up hope on ever getting our school to be clean and tidy. I never wanted to give up on this, i tried my hardest, pitched my ideas to the student body but nothing seemed to be working. i started to loose hope here. There was one person though who reignited the fire inside me and told me to never give up. So after burning some midnight oils i was able to come up with ideas to help the school become clean and green. My ideas were to have a inter school competition of classes of which classes who collect the most trash will be recognized and given a prize. Another one of my ideas was to put basketball hoops over the trashcans so kids would actually enjoy throwing away the trash. From that day forward the school began looking cleaner and cleaner until i couldn't even recognize the school anymore. It was a truly beautiful sight to see the fruit of my labor finally pay off. I have done my school a great service but it was thanks to the student body of the school that we managed to make the school clean and green, I only spearheaded the project. See i never gave up and see how much i have accomplished. If i can set an ocean in motion so can you.
