A Strong Spirit Broken (Don't Quit)

It is inevitable that things go wrong no matter how hard you try to prevent it. When walking through the path of life, you are bound to encounter mountains you have to climb over. In other words hurdles, you have to jump over to make it to the finish line. There are going to be times when you're running out of funds, with piles of debt looming overhead when your dream is to smile again, but depression is holding you down, and when care is weighing you down with the prospect of never going back up. These might make you tired; you may take a break, but it shouldn't be a permanent one. Life is unexpected with many ups and downs just like a roller coaster you go left, and you might fail, you go right, and you might succeed.

You might have thrown up the first time and didn't want to ride it again, but you might've enjoyed it. You will never know the sweet enjoyment of just throwing your hands in the air and enjoying the ride. By the end of the day, you might as well regret it.

We flip a coin and leave it up to chance whether it lands on failure or success since Success and failure are two sides of the same coin. Storm clouds brewing overhead, you can never tell how close the sunshine is. It may be closer than you think. Never give up even when you are at your worst that you can truly shine through. Don't Quit.

Paraphrased from
Don't Quit
Edgar A. Guest

When Things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to Smile but have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out,
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the struggler has given up,
When he might captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown,

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
